Lee-Richardson Wins $5,000 Scholarship
Brittany Lee-Richardson, a junior at the Merrill College, has won the Betty Endicott scholarship from the National Television Academy’s National Capital/Chesapeake Bay Chapter.
Lee-Richardson accepted the $5,000 award at Saturday’s annual regional Emmy ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C. The scholarship, named after the region’s first female news director, honors a full-time student studying journalism or communication and is selected on academic and professional achievement.
