Hanson Featured on NPR’s ‘On the Media’
Associate Professor Chris Hanson was a guest on NPR and WNYC’s ‘On the Media,’ a weekly public affairs program aired nationwide.
Hanson comments on another crimes-against-humanity trial for 15 followers of Saddam Hussein accused in the massacre of Shia in the wake of the first Gulf War, which begins this week. Hanson says that – amid the euphoria of military triumph - the story was undercovered at the time, leaving the question of culpability a murky one.
