As senior development officer, Martens provides strategic direction for the College’s development and alumni relations programs, secures support for present and future needs, and staffs the Board of Visitors. Prior to joining Merrill College, Martens held senior advancement positions at the University of Pennsylvania and The College of New Jersey, as well as administrative positions in the non-profit sector. A native of Michigan, Martens holds an MSS in Social Policy and Program Development from Bryn Mawr College, and a BSW from Western Michigan University.
