Meet Editors/Internship Supervisors from National Geographic, washingtonpost.com, Street Sense, ABC-7

December 12, 2012 Journalism students, faculty and staff:
Please come to hear a panel of journalism editors and internship supervisors discuss the job market, internships and careers in journalism.
WHEN: Wednesday, Dec. 12, (Study Day), 1-2 p.m.
WHERE: The Richard Eaton Broadcast Theater, first floor, Knight Hall (Room 1208)
WHO:
Jonathan Forsythe, deputy video editor, The Washington Post (and an alum of the college);
Justin Karp, digital operations manager | ABC 7-WJLA (and an alum of the college);
Mary Otto, editor in chief, Street Sense (a publication for and about the homeless in Washington);
Marc Silver, deputy editor, text, National Geographic Magazine (and an alum of the college).
Internship Director /multimedia teacher Christine Harvey will moderate.
Students should come dressed in business casual attire and may bring a resume to hand out. There will be time to chat with the editors right after the session, in the lobby of Knight Hall.
