Capital News Service Wins 13 MDDC Awards, Including For General Website Excellence
COLLEGE PARK (5/18/20) — The University of Maryland Philip Merrill College of Journalism’s Capital News Service won 13 awards and had 12 students recognized in this year’s Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia Press Association contest.

COLLEGE PARK (5/13/20) — University of Maryland Philip Merrill College of Journalism students Alicia Cherem ’19, Heather Kim ’20 and Cameron Doney ’20 have won national 2020 Gracie Awards for projects published by the college’s ViewFinder visual storytelling team and Capital News Service.
