Adjunct Lecturer

Gagan Nirula is creative director and vice president, digital, at the National Association of Broadcasters. As an adjunct lecturer, Nirula provides hands-on instruction of web coding, design and development to help journalism students better leverage the web for storytelling. 

Prior to working at NAB, Nirula served in various design and marketing capacities at Discovery Communications, AOL, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and was deputy sports editor and production specialist at washingtonpost.com. He also co-founded Chips, Dips and Dorks, a 1980s movie and pop culture podcast.

He graduated with a bachelor's from University of Maryland University College, and provides digital marketing and communication consulting services in addition to his work at NAB.
